Hi! I'm Amy, a licensed massage therapist in Somers Point, New Jersey. As a life-long migraine sufferer, I love playing a part in helping others to manage their headache pain. It is simply my absolute favorite work to do.

For just about as long as I can remember I have suffered from chronic migraines. I have vivid childhood memories of being at friends' pool parties, running on a cheese pizza/chlorine water combo, and suddenly seeing that dreaded, cloudy aura creeping in from the corners of my vision. A horseman of my own Pain Apocalypse. 

 

I know exactly how debilitating headaches and migraines can be, which is why I believe that it is so important that we have as many tools in our headache-fighting arsenal as possible. I truly do trust in the power of therapeutic massage in helping people like you and I to manage the symptoms of our chronic pain. In my 2.5+ decades of headaches, massage is one of the most effective remedies I have personally experienced (besides a large fountain coke from mickey D's).

In addition to headache work, I also work a lot with people in recovery from addiction. When I'm not at Hello Wellness, I'm at a local treatment center offering massage therapy to the patients there as an alternate form of pain management. Recovery is a big part of my own story as well and it very much influences my career and my approach as a massage therapist.
